Accessibility Statement
Katalyst is committed to making katalystaction.com welcoming, inclusive and easy to use for every visitor.
Our commitment
We believe everyday wellness should be reachable for everyone. We continually work to improve the experience for all of our customers and follow accessibility best practices so people with diverse abilities can comfortably browse our store, learn about our cordless red light therapy devices, and complete a purchase without friction.
We aim to align our website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, a globally recognized standard published by the W3C. Meeting these guidelines helps make web content more accessible to people who navigate with assistive technology such as screen readers, magnification software, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation.
What we have done
- Semantic structure. Pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, descriptive link text and labeled form fields so screen readers can announce content meaningfully.
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements — navigation menus, product variant selectors, cart, checkout — are reachable and operable with a keyboard alone.
- Color contrast. Body text, buttons and call-to-action elements meet or exceed the AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
-
Image alt text. Product photography, lifestyle images and decorative banners include descriptive
altattributes (or are marked decorative when appropriate) so screen-reader users receive meaningful context. - Responsive design. The store renders comfortably on phones, tablets and desktops, and content reflows cleanly at 200% browser zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Captions & transcripts. Video content (where present) is paired with captions or written summaries so the message is available without sound.
- Consistent navigation. The header, footer, and product categories stay in the same place across the site so returning visitors can rely on a predictable layout.
Ongoing improvements
Accessibility is not a one-time project — it is an ongoing commitment. We periodically audit the storefront with both automated tools and manual testing using screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation. When we add new features, banners, product blocks or third-party widgets (such as reviews and chat), we test them against the same standards before publishing.
If we discover an accessibility gap — whether through our own audit or feedback from a visitor — we prioritize it and address it as quickly as our team is able.
Third-party content
Some parts of our store rely on third-party services (for example, customer reviews, chat widgets, payment processors and embedded videos). While we choose vendors that share our commitment to accessibility, we do not directly control the accessibility of every third-party element. If you encounter an issue with one of these embedded experiences, please let us know — we will report it upstream and look for workarounds.
Need help? Found something we can fix?
We genuinely want to hear from you. If any page, product description, image, button or checkout step is hard to use with your assistive technology, please contact us and we will do our best to help you complete what you came to do — and to fix the underlying issue for everyone else, too.
Email: support@katalystaction.com
When you write to us, please include the page URL where you encountered the problem, the assistive technology and browser you are using, and a short description of what happened. The more detail you can share, the faster we can investigate.
Format requests
If you need any of our published information — product details, shipping policy, returns process, ingredients or specifications — in an alternative format (large print, plain text email, audio description), please email us at the address above. We will do our best to deliver it in a usable form within a reasonable timeframe.
Feedback welcome
Your feedback shapes how we build this store. If something about our site does not work for you, do not assume it is your fault — tell us, and we will look into it. Every report helps us make Katalyst better for the next visitor.
This accessibility statement reflects the current state of katalystaction.com and is updated whenever significant improvements are made. We thank our customers for their patience and feedback as we continue to improve the experience for everyone.
